Finally, Cameron Reilly invited me on to G’Day World to talk about Norg. I even think I got in more talking than him :)

Anyway, it was great to chat to him and I really enjoyed it. You can listen to the show here.

It’s been pointed out in the comments that I say “you know” a fair bit. Apparently I did it on an earlier podcast with Duncan as well.

According to Myles, who has to listen to me most days, it’s my “brain pause”.

I hope there’s more to the show than just … you know. I plan on expanding a few of the things we chatted about on the show here on this blog and at Norgdom (the Norg’s blog).

Thanks Cam, does this mean I’ve hiked up my skirt?

I picked up a habit from a teacher I really admired at school of filling brain pauses with a pensive look. It makes you look really wise. It wouldn’t really work on a podcast however.

We all love you anyway Bron, you know.

Welcome to the “y’know” club. Alli rags on me constantly about it being my version of “um”. I tend to use it when I’m talking off the cuff rather than doing prepared speaking. Maybe I need to listen to Barack Obama more – he never falters and is compelling!

Bron, you were talking with Cam about a mobile version of Norg, as you use WordPress (fix Norg’s about page, please) this ought to be a doddle – try one of the links on here for starters – http://feetup.org/blog/blogging/Norg-goes-mobile.html

Hello Bronwen, as JimH mentioned above we have a service that makes it really easy to publish a mobile version (http://www.mowser.com). Not sure what kind of hackery you’ve done on your Wordpress install, but we even have a Wordpress Mowser Mobile plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/mowser-wordpress-mobile/

Generally it plays pretty well with other changes, but I would be happy to help out if you have some issues.
